Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ReRoll, a media discovery app operated by CloudTaken (Houari Tadjer). By creating an account or using ReRoll, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ReRoll is a free media discovery platform that helps you find games, movies, TV shows, and books through swiping, social recommendations, and personalised suggestions. ReRoll is available as a web app at reroll.cloudtaken.com and as mobile applications.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has consented to your use of the service.

3. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address and choose a username.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use ReRoll for any illegal purpose
Harass, bully, or threaten other users
Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content
Impersonate another person or entity
Upload offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit content
Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the service
Create automated accounts or bots
Circumvent security measures (captcha, rate limits)

5. User-Generated Content

You may create content within ReRoll such as comments, ratings, and lists. By posting content, you:

Retain ownership of your original content
Grant ReRoll a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display your content within the service
Confirm the content does not violate any third-party rights
Accept that we may remove content that violates these Terms

6. Intellectual Property

Game metadata, cover art, and descriptions are sourced from third-party services:

IGDB / Twitch API — game data
TMDB — movie and TV show data ("This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB")
Open Library — book data
Steam Web API — game library sync and pricing

All trademarks, logos, and media assets belong to their respective owners. ReRoll does not claim ownership of third-party content.

The ReRoll name, logo, and original design are owned by CloudTaken.

7. Reporting & Moderation

You can report users or content that violates these Terms.
We review reports and may take action including content removal, warnings, or account suspension.
Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account at our discretion.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms of Service
Engage in behaviour that is harmful to other users or the service
Attempt to abuse, exploit, or disrupt ReRoll

If your account is terminated, you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Changes

ReRoll is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
For significant changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notification.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ReRoll is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content (game data, movie data, book data, pricing).
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the service (currently zero — ReRoll is free).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
